David Dansereau, PT

by Bill Barbieri
(North Providence, RI)

I had dealt with a nagging low back injury for a little over a year and I was continually reinjuring myself while at the gym or even performing every day tasks at home. After trying long-term rest and then a chiropracter I was given David's name. From the first evaluation to my final physical therapy session David was nothing but informative and helpful. Being interested in a career in the physical therapy field myself, he took the time to explain everything that was being done and the reasons behind each exercise/stretch and movement. Clearly has a love for his job and goes many extra steps for his patients. It has been about three months since my final appointment and although the road to building back muscle will take time, my flexibility and range of motion have increased ten-fold. Not only has the pain and tightness in my back subsided, but I feel stronger and I know the importance of form, flexibility, range of motion, etc. thanks to my conversations with David. Can't say enough about all the help he's provided!

Dave Dansereau

by George Marderosian
(Edgewood, RI)

If it were not for Dave Dansereau, I wouldn't be able to play golf. My aching, decrepit ex-jock body suffers from an assortment of ailments, including torn rotator cuffs, a serious lower back (disc) issues, and extremely tight and uncooperative hamstrings and IT bands. While my various doctors recommend their usual PTs, I have always relied on Dave. Dave understands the human body, and adopts a rigorously personal approach to therapy. He has spent an incredible amount of his time developing and explaining specific exercises for MY problems. Over the years, I have seen a half dozen or more PTs -- with most of them, the routine is predictable. NOT SO WITH DAVE; he cares very much about your personal issue. He also knows how to manipulate trigger points; his therapy is hands-on. and effective. He is actually coming to my house to show me how to best utilize a new gravity training machine I purchased. Dave will help YOUR problem, not the generic problem that ails you. BIG DIFFERENCE. Trust him -- do what he asks -- you will be rewarded with better physical condition. And as a bonus -- he is a gentlemen and super-nice guy who also has substantial expertise in nutrition.
