Help for the Physical Therapy Patient

Note to the Patient:

This site provides a brief description of a beginning list of some of the most common musculoskeletal injuries which physical therapists and sports medicine specialists treat often as well as an outline of initial treatment guidelines.

It is always best to discuss your own personal health concerns with your physician or seek advice from the professional most familiar of your personal situation.

I am currently developing a series of Smart Moves patient guide books for each of these common injuries and care plans to help your PT communicate with you better about your condition.

Please review this material with your health professional to ensure it is appropriate for your individual situation.

These following patient resource book categories listed here and available on our site:

Adult-Sports-Injuries

Proper Back Care and Preventing Overuse Injuries

Kids and Sports Injuries

Smart Moves Nutrition for Weight Loss and proper Healing
